Sea-dog station Nationalpark-Haus
The sea-dog station is an efficient appreciative care station for sea mammals. Between 30 and 80 sea-dog became an orphan, in addition, cone seals, are drawn up annually and brought into the North Sea back. Einhornhöhle
UNICORN CAVE even the name of this cave sounds mysterious. For hundreds of years, digging for the bones of the unicorn, a much esteemed medicine, had been the foremost interest. Today we know that the bones are the fossilised remnants of died-out animals, which have been living in the area during the ice-age. The cave was the home of Neanderthal men and of cave-bears.

After a 45 meter journey into the abyss, the lift will release vou to a fascinating cave world of a fairy tale forest made of stone. You can admire stalactites and lime stone macaroni - in bizarre forms, having developed over thousands of years.

The film museum exists since 1997 and is carried by the "association of the friends and sponsors of the museum for cinematography inc." and is pursued. Where the cradle of Max and Moritz stands. Wilhelm Bush, humorist, father of Max and Moritz, draftsman, painter and writer is born on the 15th of April, 1832 in Wiedensahl in the today's foam castle.
